The hotel is rather run down, but this only adds to its charm. Many rooms have recently been renovated and are in reasonable shape. But in general it is rather grotty for its price. If you cannot afford to stay here or if you stay where the locals do, it is definitely worth the effort to pop into the bar to have a drink and marvel a showpiece at a bygone era.
