McLays Guest House (Glasgow, United Kingdom)
McLays Guest House (Glasgow, United Kingdom)
New hotel in an old building built in 1919 which housed the head offices of the shipping company, Eimskip. Eimskip''s pre-World War II logo was a blue swastika, and this used to adorn the front of the building. When it was converted into a hotel a sign was put over the swastika, but as it''s a listed building the swastika could not be removed and is still there, behind the sign.
